NDT Technician / Non-Destructive Test Specialists (Contractor)

 

Job Responsibilities

As a NDT / NDE Technician, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing on manufactured components for a variety of industries, including the Aerospace/Aircraft/Defense industries. You will need previous Level II Certifications to prove abilities to conduct and verify non-destructive tests. 

Your specific duties in this role will include/;

  • Setup, calibrate and utilize nondestructive testing equipment 
  • Conduct tests to detect and determine discontinuities or non-conforming indications of manufactured components
  • Verify testing operations
  • Document and record testing outcomes
  • Report test results

Job Requirements

We are looking for NDT / NDE Technicians Specialists with the expertise and professionalism to perform exceptionally well and with minimal guidance, particularly in high-pressure work environments. You must also be an excellent communicator with the ability to interact effectively with customers.

 

Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • Minimum Level II NDT Certification from a National Accredited Certification Party 
  • Experience with Ultrasonic NDT inspections 
  • Experience in Manufacturing facilities, not the field or pipeline 
  • Careful and detailed communication abilities
  • Ability to pass an in-depth background check and drug screening, as well as MVR
  • Ability to prove, provide documentation showing Level I & Level II status
